December 2008 Dois no Choro releases their 3rd CD, Asa Brana with Guest Artists: Julien Labro, accordion/bandoneon; Linda Binder, mandolin; Heitor Garcia, percussion

2007 - Dois no Choro receives their 2nd Illinois Arts Council Special Assistance Grant for the production of "Asa Branca" CD.

July 2007: Julie Koidin performed and taught in Vitoria, Espirito Santos, Brazil. Performance at Carlos Gomez Theatre with Carne de Gato, Sergio Alvares and pianist, Fernanda Canaud.

July 2007: Julie Koidin performed and taught at the First Seminar of Choruses and Orchestras in Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

March 2007: Both Dois no Choro and Tiempo Tango accepted to the Illinois Arts Council's Artstour Roster.

October 2006: Julie Koidin recieved her third Fulbright Grant (Senior Specialist) to teach and perform in New Zealand at the University of Auckland and the University of Waikato.

July 2006: Femusica Festival in Campos de Goytacazes, RJ

August 2006: Performed in the Twelfth International Cello Festival in Rio de Janiero, RJ with I Musici Montreal, Fernanda Canaud (piano-Brazil), David Johnson (violin - Cologne, Germany), Peter Marsh (violin - USA), among others.

June 2006: Julie Koidin received her doctorate in flute performance from Northwestern. Dissertation: "Benedicto Lacerda and the 'Golden Age' of Choro Flute Playing."

Fall 2005: Publication in the Flutist Quarterly.

July 2005: Femusica Festival in Campos de Goytacazes, RJ

August 2005: Performed in the Eleventh International Cello Festival in Rio de Janiero, RJ with Maria Teresa Madeira (piano-Brazil), David Johnson (violin - Cologne, Germany), Fred Pot (cello - Amsterdam), Helen Tucker (viola - Brazil), among others.
She performed Vivaldi's Concerto in D Major RV 783 with the Volta Redondo String Orchestra in the famous Sala Cecilia Meireles Concert Hall.
